Day creams for all skin types
Choosing a day cream that suits your skin is very important. Every skin has different needs and therefore requires different care. For example, someone with oily skin needs a different day cream than someone with dry or aged skin. Discover our extensive range of day creams and find the perfect day cream for your skin!
Oily skin
With oily skin, the skin produces more sebum. As a result, the skin is often completely greasy with visible pores. The skin also becomes inflamed more quickly, which increases the risk of acne and blackheads.
Oily skin requires a cream that reduces sebum production and hydrates the skin. Skin that is well hydrated is less likely to become inflamed.
If you have oily skin, a day cream for oily skin is the right choice. These day creams usually contain ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid and glycolic acid, which hydrate the skin, reduce shine and regulate sebum production.
Dry skin
With dry skin, the skin often feels tight and dry and pores and blackheads are not visible. This is because sebum production is too low, causing your skin to retain too little moisture and dry out.
You must hydrate dry skin well so that the moisture balance is maintained. A day cream for dry skin often contains hyaluronic acid, which hydrates the skin, and vitamin C and glycolic acid, which restore dryness. Preferably choose a day cream without perfume and alcohol, as they dry out the skin.
Older skin
You can recognize older skin by pigment spots, lines and wrinkles in the skin. These characteristics are caused by a decrease in collagen, hyaluronic acid and estrogen in your skin.
Do you have older skin? Then choose a day cream for older skin with antioxidants, peptides and vitamins to nourish, hydrate and protect your skin.
The importance of spf
To prevent wrinkles, lines and spots on the skin, it is important to protect your skin against UV rays. We therefore recommend that you choose a day cream with SPF, which hydrates and nourishes your skin and at the same time protects against UV radiation.
Is it very sunny? Then just a day cream with factor 15 is not sufficient and you need a higher factor. You can also combine day cream with sunscreen. First apply the day cream, let it absorb, and then apply the sunscreen.
